This workshop will involve a 3 mile walk in Allendale (slightly uneven ground) through a number of different types of meadows in the area, with different types of management and wildflowers. You will be able to compare and discuss various grazing and hay making techniques.

In addition, the process of harvesting and spreading (meadow restoration) will be explained. Experts will be on-hand to give advice and answer questions.

Please bring a picnic lunch with you but hot drinks will be available from at the lunch stop and at the finish.

As this is an outdoor session, please wear sturdy footwear and waterproofs. Do bring plenty of water and food, hat and suncream if needed!
