Do I have to be a smallholder to join?

Everyone is welcome to join the group whether you are a smallholder or not and irrespective of whether you own land. There is no requirement to be a full time smallholder in order to join just an interest in the subject and a willingness to share your knowledge or experience.

What does it cost to join?

Membership is £10 per holding per year and the membership form is available for download

What are the benefits of membership?

This group is intended to bring together people from across the North Pennines who share a common interest in smallholding and related subjects. The plan is for the group to arrange events for members such as training courses, workshops, farm visits, demonstrations or social gatherings
